From tracks to a final piece.
Mixing is the process of blending all individual tracks (like vocals, drums, guitars) into a cohesive whole. This involves adjusting levels, panning, EQ, and adding effects to make sure each element fits well together. A good mix creates a balanced, dynamic, and immersive sound that brings out the best in each element of the song.
The final step in the production process.
Mastering is all about preparing a track for distribution. It enhances the overall sound, ensuring it’s polished, balanced, and optimized for various playback systems (like speakers, headphones, and streaming platforms). Mastering also ensures consistency across tracks if it’s part of an album or EP.
